Mit fast 160.000 verkauften Exemplaren in der ersten Woche war das Album das am schnellsten verkaufte Album des Jahres 2012 in UK und erreichte sofort Platz eins. Mit den Songs „I Will Wait“ und „Lover of the Light“ beweisen Mumford & Sons, dass sie dramatische Builds und Drop-outs so eindrucksvoll wie kaum eine andere Band hinbekommen.
