Mit ihrem Debütalbum schaffte es Lætitia Tamko alias Vagabon 2019 auf zahlreiche Jahresendlisten, nun meldet sich die in New York lebende Multiinstrumentalistin, Singer-Songwriterin und Musikproduzentin mit einem neuen Song zurück. „Carpenter“ heißt er, wurde von Rostam (Vampire Weekend, Haim, Clairo, Maggie Rogers) co-produziert und handelt in Vagabons eigenen Worten von dem „humbling feeling when you desperately want to be knowledgeable, you want to be advanced, you want to be mature, forward thinking, and evolved“, so die Künstlerin. “It’s about being confronted with your limitations.
